Energy Star

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ENERGY STAR Computers program is a

 

 

partnership effort with manufacturers of data processing equipment to promote the

introduction of energy-efficient personal

computers,

monitors,

printers,

fax

machines,

and copiers to help reduce air pollution and global warming caused by electricity

generation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

IBM Printing Systems Company participates

in

this

program by

introducing

printers that

reduce power

consumption when they are

not being

used. As

an

Energy

Star

Partner,

has determined

that

this product

meets the Energy

Star

guidelines
