Removing the Duplex Unit
Use the following procedure to remove the duplex unit:
1. Switch the printer power off.
2. Unplug the printer from the wall outlet.
3. Remove the power cord from the back of the printer.

Do not | touch | the | fuser | (labeled) | inside | the | printer. | It | can be extremely hot. |
Always | wait | at | least | 40 minutes | for | the | fuser to | cool | down. |
4. Press the release lever to open the back cover.
CAUTION:
Do not touch the small motor that is located at the right end of the duplex unit. It may be hot.
5. Press | in on | the | two | green | lock buttons located on both ends of the duplex unit, a |
slide | the | unit | out | of the | printer. |
6. Close the back cover.
