This printer is inspected and listed by recognized national testing laboratories, such Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL) in the U.S.A. and Canadian Standards
Association (CSA) in Canada. Listing of a product by a national testing laboratory indicates that the product is designed and manufactured in accordance with national requirements intended to minimize safety hazards. IBM equipment meets a very high standard of safety in design and manufacture. Remember, however, that this product
operates under conditions of high | electrical potentials and heat | generation, | both of | ||

Because the paper and toner used in the printer can burn, you | should take | normal | |||
precautions | to prevent | fire. These precautions include | measures, such | ||
as keeping | potentially | combustible | materials (for example, curtains | and chemicals) |
away from the printer, providing adequate ventilation and cooling, limiting unattended operation, and having trained personnel available and assigned to the printer.
