Deleting Folders in the USB External Hard Disk Drive

Files that are copied to the external hard disk drive can be deleted.

Caution :

0Deleted files cannot be restored.

0Be sure to back up important files on a PC. “Backing Up All Files” (A p. 162)

1Select video or still image mode.

2 Tap “DELETE”.

0Tap A to switch between the video (60i), video (60p), and still image modes. Switch to the mode in which you want to delete files.

3Tap on the folder to delete.

0After deleting, tap “OK”.

Caution :

0In case the videos are deleted, upon completion of deletion, the setting for the “SYSTEM SELECT” is automatically changed to the video mode (either 60i or 60p) that is deleted. Change the settings as necessary.

Formatting the USB External Hard Disk Drive

All files on the external hard disk drive can be deleted.

Caution :

0All data on the external hard disk drive will be deleted when it is formatted. Copy all files on the external hard disk drive to a computer before formatting.

1Select video or still image mode.

2 Tap “FORMAT”.
