Error Log Entries and Test to Clear Values
Notes:
a. The Warning alarm is upgraded to Major if the error is not resolved in six
hours.
b. Determine the carrier (a or b) by the Port field in the Error or Alarm L og.
For SPE-SELEC, the Port field is 1A (test duplication interface a) or 1B
(test duplication interface b).

Always investigate tests in the order presented in the table below. By clearing
error codes associated with the
Duplication Interface Circuit Pack Status Query
Test,
for example, you may also clear errors generated from other tests in the
testing sequence.
1. Run the Short Test Sequence first. If all tests pass, run the Long Test Sequence. Refer to the
appropriate test description and follow the recommended procedures.
2. This error type initially raises a Warning alarm. If this error type persists and alarms are not
downgraded on this MO due to the values of set options, then , after a pe riod of time, a Major alar m
is raised.
