Chapter 3 ROM Monitor Commands

To provide remote access to the Remote Annex 6300 ROMs:

1From a site local to the Remote Annex 6300:

❑Put the Remote Annex in test mode so the monitor prompt appears on the console.

❑Set the modem to auto-answer mode.

2From the Remote Annex 6300 console port:

❑At the monitor prompt, enter console-baud.

❑At the Select Baud Rate prompt, enter the appropriate baud rate or auto.

❑Connect the modem to the Remote Annex’s console port.

3From the remote site:

❑Dial into the modem connected to the Remote Annex.

❑Press the Return key until the monitor prompt appears.
