Chapter 3 ROM Monitor Commands

The boot –lcommand downloads and saves the operational image to non-volatile memory, erases the existing Flash memory, copies the new image from non-volatile memory to Flash memory, and then executes the image.

After executing a boot –l, the ls command may not show the newly-loaded image.

The boot –lcommand display looks like this:
