PressFUNCTION repeatedly to switch be-
tweenthe following functions:
BSM(best stations memory)—REG (regional)
—LOCAL(local seek tuning)—TA (traffic an-
nouncementstandby)—AF (alternative fre-
quenciessearch)
#Toreturn to the frequency display, press
BAND.
#IfMW/LW band is selected, you can only se-
lectBSM or LOCAL.
Note
Ifyou do not operate the function within about 30
seconds,the display is automatically returned to
thefrequency display.
Storing and recallingbroadcast frequenciesIfyou press any of the presettuning buttons
1–6youcan easily store up to six broadcast
frequenciesfor later recall with the touch of a
button.
%Whenyou find a frequency that you
wantto store in memory, press one of pre-
settuning buttons 1–6 and hold until the
presetnumber stops flashing.
Thenumber you have pressed willflash in the
presetnumber indicator and then remain lit.
Theselected radio station frequency has been
storedin memory.
Thenext time you press the same preset tun-
ingbutton the radio station frequency is re-
calledfrom memory.
Notes
!Upto 12 FM stations, six for each of the two
FMbands, and six MW/LW stations can be
storedin memory.
!Youcan also recall radio station frequencies
assignedto preset tuning buttons 1–6by
pushingMULTI-CONTROL up or down.
Storing the strongestbroadcast frequenciesBSM(best stations memor y) lets you automa-
ticallystore the six strongest broadcast fre-
quenciesunder preset tuning buttons 1–6.
Oncestored you can tune in to those frequen-
cieswith the touch of button.
1 PressFUNCTION to select BSM.
PressFUNCTION until BSM appears in the
display.
