Usingthe initial settings, you can customize
varioussystem settings to achieve optimal per-
formancefrom this unit.
1Functiondisplay
Showsthe function status.
1 PressSOURCE and hold until the unit
turnsoff.
2 PressFUNCTION and hold until function
nameappears in the display.
3 PressFUNCTION to select one of the in-
itialsettings.
PressFUNCTION repeatedly to switch be-
tweenthe following settings:
CalendarClockCLOCK(off clock)FM
(FMtuning step)A-PI (auto PI seek)
WARN(warning tone)AUX1 (auxiliary
input1)AUX2(auxiliary input2)R-SP (rear
outputand subwoofer controller)TEL (tele-
phonemuting/attenuation)
Usethe following instructions to operate each
particularsetting.
#Tocancel initial settings, press BAND.
Setting the date
Youcan adjust the calender display, which
canbe displayed when the sources are off.
1 PressFUNCTION to select calendar.
PressFUNCTION repeatedly until calendar ap-
pearsin the display.
2 PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right to
selectthe segment of the calendar display
youwish to set.
PushingMULTI-CONTROL left or right will se-
lectone segment of the calendar display:
DayMonthYear
Asyou select segments of the calendar dis-
playthe segment selected will blink.
3 PushMULTI-CONTROL up or down to
setthe date.
PushingMULTI-CONTROL up will increase
theselected day, month or year. Pushing
MULTI-CONTROLdown will decrease the se-
lectedday, month or year.
Setting the clock
Usethese instructions to set the clock.
1 PressFUNCTION to select clock.
PressFUNCTION repeatedly until clock ap-
pearsin the display.
2 PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right to
selectthe segment of the clock display you
wishto set.
PushingMULTI-CONTROL left or right will se-
lectone segment of the clock display:
HourMinute
Asyou select segments of the clock display
thesegment selected will blink.
