Notes

!Ifyou select another folder during repeat play,

therepeat play range changes to RPT :DSC.

!Ifyou perform track search or fast forward/re-

verseduring RPT :TRK,the repeat play range

changesto RPT :FLD.

!WhenRPT :FLD is selected, it is not possible

toplay back a subfolder of that folder.

!Whenyou select RPT :FLD for the repeating

rangeand return to the playback display,

FRPTis displayed.

Playing tracks in random order

Randomplay lets you play back tracks in a

randomorder within the repeat range,

RPT:FLD and RPT:DSC.

1 Selectthe repeat range.

2 PressFUNCTION to select RDM.

PressFUNCTION until RDM appears in the

display.

3 PushMULTI-CONTROL up to turn ran-

domplay on.

Trackswill play in a random order within the

previouslyselected RPT :FLD or RPT:DSC

ranges.

#Toturn random play off, push

MULTI-CONTROLdown.

Note

Ifyou turn random play on during RPT :FLD and

thenreturn to the playback display, FRDM ap-

pearsin the display.

Scanning folders and tracks

Whileyou are using RPT :FLD,the beginning

ofeach track in the selected folder plays for

about10 seconds. When you are using

RPT:DSC, the beginning of the first track of

eachfolder is played for about 10 seconds.

1 Selectthe repeat range.

2 PressFUNCTION to select SCAN.

PressFUNCTION until SCAN appears in the

display.

3 PushMULTI-CONTROL up to turn scan

playon.

Thefirst 10 seconds of each track of the cur-

rentfolder (or the first track of each folder) is

played.

4 Whenyou find the desired track (or

folder)push MULTI-CONTROL down to turn

scanplay off.

Thetrack (or folder) will continue to play.

#Ifthe display has automatically returned to

theplayback display, select SCAN again by using

MULTI-CONTROL.

Notes

!Aftertrack or folder scanning is finished, nor-

malplayback of the tracks will begin again.

!Ifyou turn scan play on during RPT :DSC and

thenreturn to the playback display, FSCN ap-

pearsin the display.
