on.
BSMbegins to flash. While BSM is flashing
thesix strongest broadcast frequencies will be
storedunder preset tuning buttons 1–6in the
orderof their signal strength. When finished,
BSMstops flashing.
#Tocancel the storage process, push
MULTI-CONTROLdown.
Note
Storingbroadcast frequencies with BSM may re-
placebroadcast frequencies you have saved
usingbuttons 1–6.
Tuningin strong signals
Localseek tuning lets you tune in only those
radiostations with sufficiently strong signals
forgood reception.
1 PressFUNCTION to select LOCAL.
PressFUNCTION until LOCAL appears in the
display.
2 PushMULTI-CONTROL up to turn local
seektuning on.
Localseek sensitivity (e.g., LOCAL2) appears
inthe display.
#Toturn local seek tuning off, push
MULTI-CONTROLdown.
3 PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right to
setthe sensitivity.
Thereare four levels of sensitivity for FM and
twolevels for MW/LW:
FM:LOCAL1—LOCAL2—LOCAL3—LOCAL4
MW/LW:LOCAL1—LOCAL2
TheLOCAL4 setting allows reception of only
thestrongest stations, while lower settings let
youreceive progressively weaker stations.
