1Functiondisplay
Showsthe function status.
%PressFUNCTION to display the function
names.
PressFUNCTION repeatedly to switch be-
tweenthe following functions:
RPT(repeat play)—SHFFL (random play)—
PAUSE(pause)—MUSIC (browse)
#Toreturn to the playback display, press BAND.
Note
Ifyou do not operate the function within about 30
seconds,the display is automatically returned to
theplayback display.
Repeating play
Forplayback of the songs on the iPod, there
aretwo repeat play ranges: RPT :ONE (repeat
onesong) and RPT :ALL (repeat all songs in
thelist).
!WhileRPT is set to RPT :ONE,you cannot
selectthe other songs.
1 PressFUNCTION to select RPT.
PressFUNCTION until RPT appears in the dis-
play.
2 PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right to
selectthe repeat range.
PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right until the
desiredrepeat range appears in the display.
!RPT:ONE –Repeat just the current song
!RPT:ALL –Repeat all songs in the selected
list
Playing songs in a randomorder (shuffle)Forplayback of the songs on the iPod, there
aretwo random play methods: SHFFL :SNG
(playback songs in a random order) and
SHFFL:ALB (play back albums in a random
order).
1 PressFUNCTION to select SHFFL.
PressFUNCTION until SHFFL appears in the
display.
2 PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right to
selectyour favorite setting.
Eachtime MULTI-CONTROL is pushed left or
right,settings are selected in the following
order:
SHFFL:OFF—SHFFL :SNG—SHFFL :ALB
!SHFFL:SNG –Play back songs in a random
orderwithin the selected list
!SHFFL:ALB –Select an album randomly,
andthen play back all the songs in it in
order
Pausing a songPauselets you temporarily stop playback of a
song.
1 PressFUNCTION to select PAUSE.
PressFUNCTION until PAUSE appears in the
display.
