Presetnumber

Numbersthat you dial frequently can be as-
signedto presets for quick recall.

forhow to assign a number to a preset.
1 Pressone of preset buttons 1–6 to recall
thedesired preset number.
#Youcan also recall preset numbers 1–6by
pushingMULTI-CONTROL up or down.
#Ifthe number is already in the Phone Book
thenthe name is also displayed.
#Whenselecting preset numbers that have not
beenassigned, NO DATA is displayed.
2 PressOFF HOOK to make a call.
Whilecalling, DIALLING is flashing.
3 PressON HOOK to end the call.
Theestimated call time appears in the display
(thismay differ slightly from the actual call
time).
Note
Youcan also recall preset numbers in the menu
thatappears with the pressing of FUNCTION.

Voicerecognition

Ifyour cellular phone features voice recogni-
tiontechnology, you can make a call by voice
commands.
!Operationvaries depending on the type of
yourcellular phone. Refer to the instruction
manualthat came with your cellular phone
fordetailed instructions.
!Thisfunction can be operated only when
theconnection is established with HFP
(HandsFree Profile).
1 PressBAND and hold until VOICE WAIT
appearsin the display.
Whenconnecting, VOICE WAIT is displayed.
Ifthe connection is established by HFP
(HandsFree Profile), VOICE DIAL ON is dis-
played.Voice recognition function is now
ready.
#Ifyour cellular phone does not feature voice
recognitionfunction, NO VOICED DIAL appears
inthe display and opearation is not available.
2 Pronouncethe name of your contact.

tionoperation, refer to your cellular phone’s
instructionmanual.
Takinga phone call

Answeringan incoming call

Evenwhen a source other than TELEPHONE is
selectedor when this unit itself is turned off,
youcan still answer incoming calls.
!Referto Setting the automatic answering on
page44 to have the unit answer calls auto-
matically.
1 Whena call comes in, press OFF HOOK.
#Ifthe private mode is selected on the cellular
phone,hands-free phoning may not be per-
formed.
