1Functiondisplay
Showsthe function status.
%PressFUNCTION to display the function
names.
PressFUNCTION repeatedly to switch be-
tweenthe following functions:
RPT(repeat play)—DISC LIST (disc title list)—
RDM(random play)—SCAN (scan play)—
PAUSE(pause)—COMP (compression and
DBE)—ITS-P(ITS play)
#Toreturn to the playback display, press BAND.
Note
Ifyou do not operate the function within about 30
seconds,the display is automatically returned to
theplayback display.
Repeating play
Thereare three repeat play ranges for the
multi-CDplayer: RPT :MCD (multi-CD player
repeat),RPT :TRK (one-track repeat) and
RPT:DSC (disc repeat).
1 PressFUNCTION to select RPT.
PressFUNCTION until RPT appears in the dis-
play.
2 PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right to
selectthe repeat range.
PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right until the
desiredrepeat range appears in the display.
!RPT:MCD –Repeat all discs in the multi-
CDplayer
!RPT:TRK –Repeat just the current track
!RPT:DSC –Repeat the current disc
Notes
!Ifyou select other discs during repeat play,
therepeat play range changes to RPT :MCD.
!Ifyou perform track search or fast forward/re-
verseduring RPT :TRK,the repeat play range
changesto RPT :DSC.
!Whenyou select RPT :DSC for the repeating
rangeand return to the playback display,
DRPTis displayed.
Playing tracks in random order
Randomplay lets you play back tracks in ran-
domorder within the repeat range, RPT :MCD
andRPT :DSC.
1 Selectthe repeat range.
Referto Repeating play on this page.
2 PressFUNCTION to select RDM.
PressFUNCTION until RDM appears in the
display.
3 PushMULTI-CONTROL up to turn ran-
domplay on.
Trackswill play in a random order within the
previouslyselected RPT :MCD or RPT:DSC
ranges.
#Toturn random play off, push
MULTI-CONTROLdown.
