pullit gently outward.
Takecare not to grip it too tightly or to drop
thefront panel and protect it from contact
withwater or other fluidsto prevent perma-
nentdamage.
3 Putthe front panel into provided pro-
tectivecase for safe keeping.

%Replacethe front panel by holding it
uprightto the unit and clipping it securely
intothe mounting hooks.
Resetting the microprocessor
Themicroprocessor must be reset under the
followingconditions:
!Priorto using this unit for the first time
afterinstallation
!Ifthe unit fails to operate properly
!Whenstrange or incorrect messages ap-
pearon the display
1 Removethe front panel.
Referto Removing the front panel on the pre-
viouspage.
2 PressRESET with a pen tip or other
pointedinstrument.
RESETbutton
3 Replacethe front panel by clipping it
intoplace.
4 Turnthe ignition to ACC or ON and
waitfor a few seconds.
Resettingof the microprocessor is now com-
pleted.
Clearing all memory
Toprotect personal and private information,
dataabout the phone stored in this unit can
bedeleted.
1 Removethe front panel.
Referto Removing the front panel on the pre-
viouspage.
2 PressEJECT and RESET simultaneously.
Thebeep sounds.
3 Replacethe front panel by clipping it
intoplace.
4 Turnthe ignition to ACC or ON and
waitfor a few seconds.
Allmemory is now completelycleared.
