5.In <Record Mode>, select a text recording mode. Available options

•All Transaction: Saves text information whenever text is input.

•Event Trigger Text: Saves text information only when a specifi c text is input.

6.Select a confi gured preset in the <Preset settings>.

If you click the <Preset> menu, the preset names set in the <Preset settings> are listed.

7.Select a port in the <Port> fi eld. Default port is <COM1>.

System Environment Settings for Issuing a Receipt

Select items to be displayed when issuing a receipt.

1.Display receipt to channel

Shows text screen only in 1 channel screen layout for the specifi ed period of time.

2.Popup the receipt screen

Shows the text and the picture from the camera in one screen.

3.Email sending

Sends the text information through an e-mail when a receipt is printed.

4.Remote sending

Sends the text information through CMS when a receipt is printed.

5.Beeping

Generates beep sound when a receipt is printed.

Text Input Device Preset Setting

Set up preset for the text input device linked with the DVR.

Registering a Preset (Text Input Device) 1 4

1. Register a preset by clicking <New>.

2. Set up the following items.

➀<Name>

Enter a preset name for the text input device.

➁ <Duration>
Set preset duration before printing a receipt.	2
(3 ~ 60 Sec.)

➂<Code filter>

Set communication protocol to transmit data from the text input device to the DVR.
