MANUALLY RECEIVING INTERNET FAXES

If the interval for checking for received faxes is somewhat long and you wish to check immediately, you can manually initiate reception.

Touch the [I-Fax Manual Reception] key to connect to the mail server and retrieve received faxes.

Reception

If POP3 server settings are not configured in the Web pages, the [I-Fax Manual Reception] key is grayed out to prevent selection.

System Settings: Fax Data Receive/Forward (page 7-20)

This setting is used to hide the [I-Fax Manual Reception] key that appears in the base screen of Internet Fax mode. When the [I-Fax Manual Reception] key is hidden, manual reception is initiated by touching the [Reception Start] key in the screen that appears when "Fax Data Receive/Forward" - "I-Fax Settings" is selected.
