Use this command to configure a trunk and enter interface configuration

mode for the trunk. Use the no form of this command to delete a trunk.

syntax

interface port-channel port-channel-number

port-channel-number - Trunk index

Default Setting

No trunks configured

Example

The following creates trunk 1 and enters interface configuration mode:

channel-group

Use this command to add a port to a trunk. Use the no form to remove a

port from a trunk.

Syntax

channel-group channel-id

no channel-group

channel-id - The current port will be added to this trunk

Default Setting

A new trunk contains no ports
