Using Windows Live Mail

Before You Begin

Make sure that your phone is on and that you’re inside a coverage area (see “Turning Your Phone On and Off” on page 35).

1.Press Start and select Programs.

2.Select Windows Live .

3.To synchronize email, contacts, and/or Windows Live Messenger information, press Right or Left until Sync is highlighted, and then press Center . (Information is synchronized for any of the three applications you selected during setup.)

4.To read your email, go to your Windows Live main page, and select Mail. (The Inbox application opens and displays your Windows Live mail.)

You can view, send, and work with messages in your Windows Live account in the same way as with messages for any other email account (see “Using the Email Features” on page 123).

Using Windows Live Messenger

Before You	You must have an existing Hotmail account to use Windows Live Messenger.
Begin	If you do not have an account, use the Web browser on your Treo to go to
	www.mobile.live.com/hm, and follow the steps to set up an account. Make
	sure that your phone is on and that you’re inside a coverage area (see
	“Turning Your Phone On and Off” on page 35).

Messaging

1.Press Start and select Programs.

2.Select Windows Live .

3.Highlight Messenger by pressing Right or Left , and then press Center .
