9.Press Done (left softkey), and then press OK .

You can now communicate with this device whenever it is within range and the Bluetooth feature on your Treo is turned on. The range varies greatly, depending on environmental factors. The maximum is about 30 feet (10 meters).

Tip

To modify or delete an established partnership with a device, go to the Bluetooth Settings screen and select Devices. Highlight the connection you want to change or remove, press and hold Center on the 5-way, and then select Edit or Delete. A deleted device can no longer automatically connect with your Treo.

Sending Information Over a Bluetooth Connection

You can send an individual entry or file.

1.Make sure the receiving device is ready to receive a Bluetooth connection.

2.Highlight the entry or file you want to send.

3.Press Menu (right softkey) and select Beam. (If you don’t see a Beam command, select Send… > Beam instead. The Beam and Send menu items change names based on the type of item you highlighted.)

4.Select the receiving device in the list.

When the transmission is complete, Done appears next to the name of the receiving device.

Tip

Check your battery level before establishing a Bluetooth connection. If the battery level is low, you can’t make a Bluetooth connection.
