Opening and Closing Applications

Using the Buttons

The front of the Treo has four buttons that you can use to open and close applications.

Each of the buttons has two functions. To use a button’s primary function, simply press the button. To use a button’s secondary function, press and hold Option while you press the button. Pressing Phone/Talk or any of the buttons (except OK) automatically wakes up your Treo screen. See “Waking Up the Screen and Turning It Off” on page 34.
