6.Uncheck the box to detect the Exchange server settings, and then press Next (right softkey).

7.If prompted, enter the Server address and check the box if the server requires SSL encryption, and then press Next (right softkey).

8.Enter the username and password that you use to access your corporate mail server, and enter the Exchange server domain.

Tip

The Exchange Server settings are case-sensitive. Be sure to enter

 

uppercase and lowercase letters properly. Be especially careful when

 

entering the password, because it does not appear on the screen as you

 

enter it. See “Entering Lowercase and Uppercase Letters” on page 64 and

 

“Entering Numbers, Punctuation, and Symbols” on page 65.

 

 

Synchronizing

9.Ask your system administrator if it is OK to store your corporate email password on your Treo, and then do either of the following:

If it is OK, check the Save password box and press Next (right softkey).

If it is not OK, do not check the Save password box and press Next (right softkey). (You must synchronize manually; see “Initiating a Wireless Sync Manually” on page 311 for details).
