Cleaning Cartridges Label Examples
Cleaning cartridges clean the read/write heads of the drives and the tape paths. Cleaning Cartridge Label Examples
The cleaning cartridges have the label format CLNvxx. The first three alphabets CLN identifies the cartridge as cleaning, the v determines the drive type, and the xx is a number value from 00 to 99 to identify the individual cleaning cartridge. The SDLT, LTO, and T10000 cartridges also have a media ID in the cartridge label. For example, CLNT19CT identifies the cartridges as a T10000 cleaning cartridge.
