Precalentar el horno

Precaliente el horno antes de cocer alimentos. El horno no tiene que precalentar por piezas grandes de carne o pollo. Consulte su receta para recomendaciones del precalentado. El tiempo del precalentado depende del ajuste de temperatura y de la cantidad de rejillas en el horno.

Minimice abrir la puerta:

Use un cronómetro de minutos.

Use la luz interna del horno

Escoja los moldes de tamaño correcto; use los moldes recomendados en la receta.

Guarde las bandejas de asar fuera del horno. Una bandeja o molde extra sin alimentos, afecta el dorado y el horneado.

El tipo de molde utilizado afecta el dorado:

Para una corteza suave, dorada use moldes claros de teflón/ anodizados o brillosos de metal.

Para una corteza dorada, crujiente use moldes oscuros de teflón/anodizados o moldes oscuros sin brillo o de vidrio. Tal vez estos moldes requieren bajar la temperatura a 25°F.

Tipo de molde

Hornos de metal (con o sin un acabado de teflón), vidrio refractario, vidrio cerámico, cerámica u otros moldes funcionan bien con este horno.

Las bandejas de galletas que funcionan con el horno tienen un pequeño borde solamente en un lado. Bandejas pesadas o aquellas con más de un lado pueden afectar el tiempo del horneado.
