Removing and replacing the server panels |
To mount optional devices inside the server, you need to remove the top panel depending on the option you are mounting.
CAUTION: When sliding a server panel, be careful not to catch you finger between it and the server. The panel might cause injury.
Removing the top panel (for Micro Tower Types)Follow these steps to remove a top panel:
1Shut down the server and switch off the power if it is in opera- tion.
2Unplug the power cable.
3Remove four screws on the upper outer cover. In addition, remove the four screws on the bottom outer cover.
