YThe distance in pixels from the origin of the page, along the y-axis, to the starting point of the text line.

,A comma separates these variables.

LLine end.

Where to place it Immediately before the text to be placed.

Example To place a line of text, the starting point of which will be 1200 pixels (100 mm/4 inches) from the origin of the page along the x- axis, and 1650 pixels (140 mm) from the origin of the page along the y-axis, enter:

Ea1200,1650L (Text)L

Figures 2-11 and 2-12 show how the command works on short- edge feed paper, in landscape and portrait orientations. Compare the origins and the x- and y-axis of each page orientation.

More As shown in figures 2-11 and 2-12, Text Placement Absolute places portrait fonts differently than landscape fonts. When you are placing text with portrait fonts, the command defines the starting point for the baseline of the first character. When you are placing text with landscape fonts, the command defines the top left corner of the character cell of the first character.
