The settings for this function are as follows.

Menu Item Description

XSets the left and right margin values within a range of –99 to 99 mm.

The default settings is [5 mm].

YSets the lead and trail margin values within a range of –99 to 99 mm.

The default settings is [5 mm].

Example

The media margin settings are determined according to the following for input data consisting of 300 x 420 mm.

When both X and	A3: 307 ⋅ 430	Because the input data is smaller than

to +10 mm	A2: 430 ⋅ 604	printing is performed on A3 media
	mm	(297 ⋅ 420), 3 mm of data width will
		be cut.
When both X and	A3: 287 ⋅ 410	Because the input data is larger than
Y have been set	mm	A3, the A2 size is determined. When
to –10 mm	A2: 410 ⋅ 584	printing is performed on A2 paper
	mm	(420 ⋅ 594), a margin will be located
		at the top, bottom, left and right.
