Rotate the knob until the media's lead edge protrudes from the tray outlet.

Pull the lever to open the tray cover.

Rotate the knob until the paper passes through the tray outlet.

Grasping the cutter by the handle, slide the cutter to the opposite side of the tray to cut the paper.

CAUTION: Use the cutter handle to prevent personal injury which may result from sliding your fingers along the sharp, metal cutting bar.

Remove the media that was cut off.

Close the tray cover.
