9000:–

■Layer 2 modules support up to 4 trunk groups with up to 6 ports per trunk

■Layer 3 modules support up to 3 trunk groups with up to 6 ports per trunk

The 6-port SAS (3-port DAS) FDDI Layer 3 supports 3 trunk groups. In SAS mode the trunks can contain up to 6 ports. In DAS mode, the trunks can contain up to 3 ports.

■The FGA24 switch fabric module supports up to

4 trunk groups with up to

6 ports per trunk and the FGA24T and GA9 switch fabric modules support up to 12 trunk groups with up to 6 ports per trunk

(The GA9 cannot support 12 trunk groups because there are not enough ports on this module.)
