88CHAPTER 3: SYSTEM ENVIRONMENT

While the system sends the files to the host, it displays the name of each display image that it transfers. When the transmission is complete, the system displays a message that the transfer is complete and displays the file name and the name of the host on which it stored the file.

FTP Procedure (3500 Only)

1Create an empty file with open write permissions on the host to store the system display images.

2From the top level of the Administration Console, enter:

system snapshot save

3Enter the IP address of the host on which you want to save the display images.

4Enter the full pathname of the file that you designated.

5Enter your username and password.

While the system sends the files to the host, it displays the name of each display image that it transfers. When the transmission is complete, the system displays a message that the transfer is complete and displays the file name and the name of the host on which it stored the file.
