Example Setting the system time

 

SYST:TIME 14,30,20

set 2:30:20 PM

:TIME? SYSTem:TIME? [MAX MIN,MAX MIN,MAX MIN] returns:

When no parameter is sent; the current system time in the form

+ HH,+ MM,+ SS, where HH can be 0 through 23 hours, MM can be 0 through 59 minutes, and SS can be 0 through 60 seconds.

When parameters are sent; the minimum or maximum allowable values for each of the three parameters. The parameter count must be three.

Example Querying the system time

 

SYST:TIME?

ask for current time

input values of hour,min,sec

read back time

:VERSion?

SYSTem:VERSion? Returns the SCPI version for which this instrument

 

complies.

 

Comments

• The returned information is in the format: YYYY.R; where YYYY is the

 

year, and R is the revision number within that year.
