CONTROL IDENTIFICATION & FUNCTION

11.START KEY

Used to initia te a selected mode sequ ence whe n press ed and releas ed. Any mode of opera tion can be stopped by pressi ng and hol ding the Start Key until the contro l produces an audible signal.

12.GREEN INDICATOR LIGHTS

Located with in each func tion key, the green ligh t functio ns as an operator prompt to ind icate additiona l oper ator action is required . These

ind icato rs also ident ify current mod e of operat ion.

13.AMBER INDICATOR LIGHTS

Located below the Cook, Time, Probe and Hold Keys, these indicat ors will illuminate to identify the current mode of operation and allow s the operator to identify the information currently show n in the LED display.

￿SMOKER KEY (ON COOK/ HOLD/ SMOKER MODELS ONLY)

Smoking can be accomplished in any of the cook and hold modes. This function key can also be used to cold smoke product. Load the smoker tray with the recommended wood chips prior to engaging key. See page 70 of this manual for operation instructions.

15. HALO HEAT INDICATOR

When the oven is preheating, the Halo Heat indicato r will illuminate and remain steady until the oven reaches the set cooking temperature. When the temperature has stabi lized, the indicator will illuminate periodically as the oven calls for heat.

16. PRESET PROGRAM KEYS

• Provid es memory stora ge and opera tion of up to eight ope rator set cooking progr ams for specif ic produc ts (A thru H).

17. LOCK KEY

• “I” ena ble s and dise ngage s control locking func tion indic ate d by the lock indi cat or light (ITEM 6).

18. CANCEL KEY

• Used to erase a progr am from memory stor age .

The audible signal or OVEN BEEP is used to indicate a YES or NO resp onse to operator input.

that lasts for one second indicates an oven mod e transition .

EXAMPLE: Prehe at to Ready- Start.

Three brie f bee ps indicate the ove n is in the READY MODE for produc t loading and start-up.

Fou r brie f bee ps

indicate an existing fault condition. Refer to Trouble Shooting in the Operatio n & Care Manual.

Bee per volu me can be changed. With the contro l in the OFF MODE, PRESS AND HOLD the Dow n Arrow key. After 4 sec ond s, the display will indicate one of the four volum e levels consist ing of “0” for volume OFF to set ting number “3” whi ch is the highest volume available. Relea se the Down Arrow key after each change and repeat the process to select the nex t volume level.
