Control network through an Avaya Ethernet switch

When designing S8700-series fiber-PNC systems, a control network connects the servers to the IPSIs through a 10/100 BaseT Ethernet. It consists of two separate Ethernet networks using Ethernet switches. Control network A connects to the primary IPSIs, and control network B connects to the secondary IPSIs (Figure 22: S8700-seriesfiber-PNC control network).
