Set . Use the dial pad to enter

Document Type

You can select the Copy resolution for your type of original. The default setting is AUTO, which is used for documents that contain both text and photographs. TEXT is used for documents containing only text. PHOTO is used for copying photographs.

1Insert the original in the ADF or on the scanner glass.

2 Press Document Type .	DOC TYPE:AUTO?
	SELECT <- -> & SET

3Press or to choose document type and press Set .

4Press Copy .

5Using the dial key pad, enter the number of copies.

6 Wait five seconds— OR—Press Copy again.

Enlarged or Reduced Copies

1Place the original in the ADF or on the scanner glass.

2Press Enlarge/Reduce .

3	Press or to choose an enlargement	ELG/RDC:100%
	or reduction ratio.
		SELECT	&	SET

You can reduce to AUTO, 93%, 87%, 75%, 50%, or 25% of the original size

— OR—

You can enlarge to 120%, 125%, 141%, 150%, 200%, or 400%

— OR—

For more choices select ZOOM and press any percentage between 25% and 400%. For example, press 5 , 3 to enter 53%.

4Press Copy .

5Using the dial pad, enter the number of copies.

6Wait five seconds—OR—Press Copy again.

Select AUTO if you want the MFC automatically to reduce the original to fit on the paper size you programmed (Function 1-2-6).
