7.Edit the /etc/inetd.conf ﬁle by removing anything prior to the tftpboot daemon (e.g., the # sign) that comments-out the line.

8.Kill the inetd process (e.g., unix% kill -HUP ‘process ID number’), and then restart the process (e.g., unix% inetd), to enable the revised inetd.conf ﬁle.

NOTE

You must request a process status and grep for inetd to obtain the process ID number (see step 3 above).
