Ready to change settings—Pressing the MENU button puts the operator panel into Menu mode. This mode allows you to change the printer’s various modes. The display panel looks similar to this:

You can select Menu mode only when the printer is not receiving data and the Data indicator symbol is off.

Printing is disabled—If a printing problem occurs, such as a paper jam, and printing is disabled, the operator panel shows the cause of the problem. The letter E, C, or F, and a number are displayed alternately in the lower right corner of the display.
