show memory scan

To monitor the number and type of parity (memory) errors on your system, use the show memory scan command in EXEC mode.

show memory scan

Syntax Description This command has no arguments or keywords.

Examples

The following example shows a result with no memory errors:

 

Router# show memory scan

 

 

 

Memory scan is on.

 

 

 

 

No parity error has been detected.

 

 

If errors are detected in the system, the show memory scan command generates an error report. In the

 

following example, memory scan detected a parity error:

 

Router# show memory scan

 

 

 

Memory scan is on.
