How Do I Configure My DOCSIS Residential Gateway?
The Setu p Lan Set up pa ge allows you to configure the s ettings for the Lo cal Area
Network ( LAN) in your home. Thes e settings includ e the range of IP addres ses that
define the LAN itself as well as how the addresses are assigned (automatically by
DHCP or manu ally) as new devices a re added to the network.
Important: Unless you are knowledgea ble about ad minist ering I P ad dress es, we
recomme nd that you do no t change thes e set tings. If yo u change thes e valu es
incorrectly, you can lose I nternet acces s.
Select the La n Setup tab to op en the S etup La n Setup p age.
Configuring Your Netw ork S e t t ings
Use the descrip tions and instruc tions in t he followi ng table to config ure the netw ork
settings for your residentia l gateway. After you make your select ions, click S av e
Settings to apply your cha nges or click Cancel Changes to cancel.
