Advanced firewall technolo gy deters hackers and prot ects the home network from
unaut horized acc ess. Use this page t o configure a firewall that can filter out various
types of unwanted traffic on the gateway’s local network.
Select the Fire wall tab to open the Security Firewa ll page.
Use the d escriptions and inst ructions in the f ollowing table t o configure the firewall
for your residentia l gat eway. After you mak e your selections, click Save Settings to
apply your changes o r Cancel Changes to cancel.
