Applications & Gaming > Port Range Triggering
Port range triggering is a wa y to dynamically forward ports to a LAN PC that needs
them at a particula r time. T hat part icular time is when it runs a c ertain ap plication
that performs some event that trigger the router. This event must be an outbound
access of a part icula r port ra nge.
Select the P ort Ra nge Trigge ring t ab to o pen the A pplic ations & Ga ming Port Ra nge
Triggering page.

Use the desc riptions a nd instru ctions in the foll owing tab le to conf igure the p ort
range triggeri ng for the residential gateway. Select ena ble for each. A fter yo u make
your selections, click Save Settings to apply your changes or Cancel Changes to
cancel.

Triggered Range Start Po rt
For the Start port, sele ct a port from the recommended 49152 -
65535 range. Keep in mind that ports used are program specific
so check which ones the program requires to be forwarded.
End Port
For the End port, select a port from the recommended 49152 -

For the Start port, sele ct a port from the recommended 4 9152 -
