Step 3 To change a threshold value for any field:
a. Click in the Threshold field.
b. Enter a new threshold value.
Note For those fields with a “Percent of Max” time unit, the user may enter a number from 0 to
100. For those fields with a “1 Second” time unit, the user may enter a number from 1 to
65,535.
c. Click Apply.
Note Any port which exceeds the configured thresholds will be displayed as red on the home page.
The following are descriptions for each field in the Set Field Thresholds area:
Note The thresholds for the following four fields are set as a percentage of maximum; that is the percentage
of maximum port capacity, which depending upon the IB fabric configuration can be:
- 4X (10 Gbps)
- 1X (2.5 Gbps)
portXmitDataThresh
The threshold for the number of 32-bit data words transmitted by the port.
portRecvDataThresh
The threshold for the number of 32-bit data words received by the port.
portXmitPktsThresh
The threshold for the number of data packets transmitted by the port.
portRecvPktsThresh
The threshold for the number of data packets received by the port.
