Opening and Closing the System
WARNING: Only trained service technicians are authorized to remove the system cover and access any of the components inside the system. Before you begin this procedure, review the safety instructions that came with the system.
WARNING: Whenever you need to lift the system, get others to assist you. To avoid injury, do not attempt to lift the system by yourself.
Opening the System
1Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and peripherals.
2Rotate the latch release lock counter clockwise to the unlocked position. See Figure
3Grasp the cover on both sides while pressing your thumbs on latch release lock and the indent, carefully slide the cover back, and lift it away from the system. See Figure
