Separation pad

1Empty the paper from the tray.

Note Callout 1 in figure 101 shows a detail of the separation pad.

2While pressing down the paper lift plate (callout 2), reach under the front of the tray and squeeze the black tabs (callout 3 in figure 102) to release the separation pad from the tray.

3If necessary, pull the spring off of the old separation pad, and then insert the spring onto the new separation pad.
