Service approach
Repair of the printer normally begins with a
1Isolate the problem to the major system (the host computer, the network and/or server, or the printer).
2Determine whether the problem is located in the print engine or an accessory device.
3Troubleshoot the problem using the troubleshooting information in chapter 7.
Once a faulty part is located, repair is usually accomplished by
