Using SCSISelect with SCSI Devices

The Ultra160 and faster SCSI host adapters include the SCSISelect utility to configure the host adapter and to run the SCSI disk utilities. To run the SCSISelect utility:

NOTE: The onboard LSI SCSI controller on the xw9300 has an “LSI Logic Configuration Utility” that you access through Ctrl-Cwhen the LSI option ROM is initializing.

In POST Messages Enabled mode: Press Ctrl+A when the “Press<Ctrl><A> for SCSISelect Utility” message appears during POST. The utility will only be present if an Adaptec SCSI card is present.

In POST Messages Disabled mode: When the HP logo screen appears, press any key to exit the logo screen. Immediately after exiting the logo screen, press Ctrl+A to access the SCSISelect utility. The utility will only be present if an Adaptec SCSI card is present.
