PCI Installation Tips

Someco mmonPCI tips are listedhere.
Reserve interrupts(IRQs) and/or memory addresses specifically for ISA add-in cards. This
prevents PCIadd-in cards from trying to use the same settings ISA add-in cards are using. Use
the SSU to keeptrack of ISA add-in card resources.
Certain driversmay require interrupts that are not shared with other PCI drivers. The SSU can
be used to adjust the interrupt numbersfor PCIdevices. For certain drivers,it maybe
necessaryto alter settings so that interrupts are not shared.
