2gros oignons jaunes, coupés en deux en longueur

45mL (3 c. à soupe) de margarine ou de beurre

15mL (1 c. à soupe) de farine tout-usage

2mL (1⁄2 c. à thé) de poivre noir

710mL (3 tasses) de bouillon de bœuf

355mL (11⁄2 tasse) de bouillon de poulet

80mL (1⁄3 de tasse) de xérès sec

5mL (1 c. à thé) de sauce Worcestershire

6tranches de pain français (tranches de 1,25 cm [1⁄2 po] d’épaisseur, coupées en diagonale), légèrement grillées

85g (3 oz) de parmesan fraîchement râpé

Placer le disque déchiqueteur de 4 mm dans le bol à préparation. Ajouter le gruyère. Faire tourner le robot pour râper. Retirer et réserver.
