455g (1 lb) de carottes, pelées

1⁄2 petit oignon

120mL (1⁄2 tasse) de jus d’orange

30mL (2 c. à soupe) de miel

1 mL (1⁄4 c. à thé) de sel

0,5 mL (1⁄8 c. à thé) de poivre noir

15mL (1 c. à soupe) de margarine ou de beurre

Placer le disque éminceur de 2 mm dans le bol à préparation. Ajouter les carottes et les oignons, une petite quantité à la fois. Faire tourner le robot pour trancher. Réserver.

Dans une poêle de taille moyenne, combiner le jus d’orange, le miel, le sel et le poivre. Porter à ébullition sur feu moyen-vif. Ajouter les carottes au mélange; remuer pour enrober. Porter à ébullition. Couvrir; cuire à feu moyen 5 minutes. Retirer le couvercle, laisser mijoter 10 minutes ou jusqu’à ce que le liquide s’évapore et que les carottes soient enrobées et tendres. Ajouter le beurre; remuer pour enrober.
