ARS Routing: Calls to Local or Nearby Area Codes

All FRLs are set to low values for these calls. Four digits are absorbed for 410 area code calls, and no digits are absorbed for 301 and 703 area code calls.

The factory-set Special Numbers Table and Dial 0 Table must use the main pool, which includes the system’s loop- start line and directs emergency (911) and other special numbers calls to the correct local services.

All other routes, including Toll Table, specify tandem trunk pools with prepending of 9.

The default Local Table uses tandem trunks and prepends 91703.
