!WARNING:
Since the “clear long” options clear all counters if tests pass, it is possible
for firmware counters to be cleared even when a problem exists. I n some
cases customer service might degrade since calls may be routed over
defective equipment.
Output
The following example is the output for the test pkt port-network 1 command. The
responses display on a test-by-test basis with one line of data for each test result.

long clear

option forces a clear of al l alarms if no errors are encountered during testing. The
short clear
option only clears
alarms pertinent to tests in th e short sequence. SEE WARNING B ELOW.

(short or long) to repeat until the alarm
(if any) is cleared or a singl e test in the
sequence fails.1
Command is validated and then a
scheduling form displays to schedule
execution of the command. The
command is then placed in the
command queue and is executed at
the specified time. The i nformation
displayed by the command is sent to
the system printer instea d of the
screen.2
